Your Medical can be renewed no earlier than 45 days before the expire date, however you can call in advance to schedule an appointment.

You need to bring the following documentation:

Medical renewal

Updated medical journals from your general practitioner, sundhed.dk/specialist, and medication card (fmk) since the last issuance
Passport or driver's license
Previous medical certificate
If you wear spectacles or contact lenses and the prescription has changed since the last issuance, a copy of vision data (prescription) from an optician or ophthalmologist shall be brought along.

Initial examination

All medical records from your general practitioner (note that general practitioner notes/journals are not available on sundhed.dk)
All medical information from sundhed.dk and specialists/private hospitals, as well as an updated medication card (fmk.)
Passport or driver's license
If you wear spectacles/contact lenses, both spectacles and contact lenses shall be brought along with vision data (prescription strength, etc.) from an optician or ophthalmologist.

Payment methods

Bank transfer, cash, and MobilePay. Invoice can be sent directly to the employer by agreement. This shall be arranged in advance when scheduling the appointment.

Traffic Agency

An application form can be filled in in English before the examination and brought in a paper form. Must be completed either digitally or in block letters.
